The Crown Building is located on Route 9 (westbound) in Framingham across from the Mass. State Police Barracks and next to Shields MRI. It is easily recognizable by its blue reflective glass like that of a "flashcube".
We assist individuals of all disabilities to go to work. If you are unemployed or underemployed, you may be able to benefit from vocational services. All VR consumers must reside in Massachusetts and be eligible to work in the United States. The Framingham MRC Office serves individuals who reside in the following towns: Ashland, Dover, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Hudson, Lincoln, Marlborough, Maynard, Medfield, Natick, Needham, Northborough, Sherborn, Southborough, Stow, Sudbury, Wayland, Wellesley, Westborough, Weston and Westwood.
To Make a Referral
Any individual with a disability can inquire about obtaining services. Friends, relatives and health care providers can also refer an individual to MRC. Our services are designed to assist individuals with disabilities to make informed choices about work. We have two easy ways you can start this process.
- Call (508) 370-4700 and ask for the Counselor On Duty. The C.O.D. will help you to complete a short telephone inquiry.
- Walk in to our office between the hours 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (Monday through Friday) and ask for the Counselor On Duty.

The Employment Resources Room provides all of the tools and guidance you need to get a job including computerized job search, up-to-date career information, reference materials, employment forecasts/trends, job listings, copying, faxing, word processing and Internet services. The MetroWest Consumer Council meets monthly to improve the way that we provide vocational rehabilitation services, advocate for continued support and funding of the program, support the needs of consumers in accessing services in the community and address issues of importance to consumers in the area. Please call if you would like to join the Council.
The Framingham Office has materials available in the following languages: Chinese, Haitian Creole, Japanese, Korean, Portugese, Vietnamese and Spanish. Please call us if you would like any of this information. We have Counselors who are fluent in Spanish and proficient with Sign Language.
Directions to Our Office
We are located at 463 Worcester Road on Route 9 (westbound) in Framingham across from the Mass. State Police Barracks in The Crown Building next to Shields MRI. The Crown Building is recognizable by its blue reflective glass like that of a "flashcube". Parking is available around the building. We are on the third floor in Suite 305
From the East , we are located about 1.5 miles beyond the shopping malls (Shopper's World/Natick Collection).
From the West , we are located about 10 miles beyond Route 495. Follow Route 9 headed towards Framingham. You will pass the Mass State Police Barracks on your right followed by the Route 30/Route 126/Concord Street overpass (about a half mile after the State Police). Go under the bridge and turn right onto Concord Street. Take the next right which will bring you onto the overpass. Turn right again (Route 9 Framingham Center/Worcester). Take another right onto Route 9 headed westbound. Proceed for about a quarter of a mile and you will see The Crown Building.
From the Mass Pike , take exit 13. Take the ramp for Route 30 west towards Framingham. Bear right onto Route 30/Cochituate Road. Route 30 intersects Route 9 (1.5 miles). We are located just beyond the intersection.
Public Transportation - the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority operates Route 9 Natick/Framingham/Worcester Road. This will bring you to our office. Call the transit authority at (508) 935-2222 for more information.
