  • Contact the Area Director at Ann.Ahearn@mrc.state.ma.us

Special Services

The Career Occupational Preference Profile (COPS) are given on the third Wednesday of each month. This is an assessment of your interests, values and aptitudes to help you make realistic career choices. After you meet with a counselor arrangements can be made for you to have this assessment.

The General Aptitude Test Battery (GATB) is given on the last Friday of each month. This is an assessment of your aptitude, i.e. of your ability to learn or do certain kinds of jobs. If you and your counselor decide this evaluation is necessary your counselor will arrange for you to have this evaluation.

Job Club and Job Seeking skills workshop is held every Monday morning from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. This group provides support during your job search as well as job leads, resume writing and access to job opportunities listed on the Internet.
