The Family Planning Program works to make health education resources and materials available to providers and the public.

• DPH Virtual Clearinghouse
  The Massachusetts Department of Public Health's (MDPH) Virtual Clearinghouse has many free order forms for health education materials about a variety of health topics listed in one place online.
• Massachusetts Health Promotion Clearinghouse
  An online catalog of MDPH produced materials available at no cost. Includes MDPH Family Planning Program produced birth control brochures and fact sheets (in English and six other languages), and the Maria Talks! 'Where Can I get Plan B®?' Flow Chart (in English and Spanish).
• MariaTalks.com Statewide Sexual Health Website (for youth and young adults)
  The MariaTalks website, operated by AIDS Action Committee, provides medically accurate, developmentally appropriate sexual health information for youth and young adults. The website content and design was focus tested by both providers, youth, and young adults. It provides local referrals by zip code to family planning, youth development, rape crisis and other important programs via a zip code lookup function, and links to the confidential statewide sexual health hotline, 1-877-MA-SEX-ED. The ‘For Providers’ section also lists helpful educational materials, resources and links for providers, including an order form for free promotional materials.
• Healthy Relationships, Sexuality and Disability Resource Guide 
  The DPH STD Prevention Program (DSTDP) has many free materials available online, including a new booklet called 'It's All About You,' a guide for young adult women that stresses knowledge about sexual health, routine testing and self-care, as well as fact sheets for specific target populations. All materials are free and available via an online order form  or by calling (617) 983-6940.
• My Little Black Book for Sexual Health
  My Little Black Book for Sexual Health is a youth-friendly interactive online guide about health insurance and birth control. This new resource helps young adults navigate their health insurance options and answers questions about finding health plans that work for them, why prescription coverage matters, and how birth control fits in. Now available in English and Spanish, it includes chapters on health insurance 101, key terms, FAQs and a list of resources local to Massachusetts, all of which are also available in pdf format for print distribution. My Little Black Book for Sexual Health was created because young adults ages 18-26 are the group most likely to be uninsured and face high rates of unintended pregnancy. This crucial content on preventing pregnancy and securing health insurance access for young adults was designed to be incorporated into existing websites and other clinical and educational interventions.
• Region I Title X Family Planning Training Center Resources
  A central online location to help reproductive healthcare providers and organizations quickly and easily find resources to help them continuously improve their client services. Resources include archived webinars, training guides and health education materials in English and other languages.
• The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Publications
  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is an online source for credible health information. You can use this link to access featured journals, publications by topic, and the MMWR (Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report).
• Hesperian Publications and Bookstore
  Simply written and heavily illustrated, Hesperian books are designed in close collaboration with health workers, grassroots groups, and community organizations around the world, so that people with little formal education can understand, apply and share health information that is appropriate across different conditions and cultures. See especially A Health Handbook for Women with Disabilities and Where Women Have No Doctor for culturally-competent, low-literacy family planning information.
• Healthy Relationships, Sexuality and Disability Resource Guide 
  Learning how to access medically accurate, developmentally appropriate health information and resources about sexual health, development and safety is an important developmental task for all youth, and a skill that is needed throughout adulthood. This preventative resource guide was created to share a variety of resources to assist people living with disabilities and those who care about them in accessing the information and guidance they may need to support a broad spectrum of developmentally appropriate tasks related to the reduction of health risks and promotion of healthy relationships and sexuality.
• The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth Support Project Tools and Materials (GLYS)
  The GLBT Youth Support Project has developed a number of free tools and materials, including posters, cue cards, assessment tools, legal protections and policy statements to help create safety and support for GLBT youth and their families in agencies, schools and communities.
• Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health Resources
  Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health (PRCH)'s resources provide physicians and other healthcare providers with the tools they need to promote comprehensive reproductive healthcare. PRCH printed resources and CD-ROMs are free and include many useful tools for providers such as Emergency Contraception: A Practitioner's Guide.
• PATH Publications
  PATH is an international nonprofit organization that provides low-literacy culturally competent reproductive health information on topics such as: adolescent health, breast cancer, cervical cancer prevention, HPV vaccination, family planning, emergency contraception, HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections. PATH is also a great resource for information about emergency contraception (EC) in over 14 languages (see 'Emergency Contraception: It's Not Too Late to Prevent Pregnancy').
