Talking with Dolores: Elder Mental Health, Depression, and Suicide Webinar

The Talking with Dolores: Elder Mental Health, Depression, and Suicide webinar will be presented by Kerry Morrison, Psy.D., Creator and Lead trainer of the L.I.F.E. (Living is for the Elderly) Training for the Center for Human Development (CHD), and Rebecca Kessler, M.A., Co-trainer of L.I.F.E. and Suicide Prevention Grant Manager at CHD. This webinar will use clips from Talking with Dolores, a one act play about aging and elder depression and the L.I.F.E. (Living is for the Elderly) training to help participants identify and understand the myths, statistics, resources available to combat elder depression and suicide.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health Suicide Prevention Program is honored to partner with Comfort Zone Camp and Samaritans, Inc. to provide this camp for children and teens ages 7-17 who have experienced the loss of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver to suicide.

About Comfort Zone Camp
Comfort Zone Camp is a non-profit bereavement camp that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. The free camps include confidence building programs and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings. Comfort Zone Camps are offered to children 7-17, and are held year-round across the Country. They have offices in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Virginia.
