RE:	Annual Change to the Federal Standard Maintenance Allowance and Standard 
Shelter Expense

Annual Change to Spousal Allowances
Starting Monday, July 2, 2007, PACES is calculating the minimum-	monthly-
maintenance-needs allowance using the following amounts:
	
*	federal standard maintenance allowance — $1,712; and
*	excess shelter allowance —$514.

The recalculation of open cases will occur during the week of July 9, 2007.

All patient-paid-amount (PPA) changes that result from this update are 
effective July 1, 2007.
