Yes, the beginning of a new school year can mean stocking up on school supplies, coordinating drop-offs and pick-ups from school, lining up a babysitter, lunch money, lots and lots of homework assignments and a much quieter house during the daytime. Parents should remember that the new school year also means fulfilling requirements for your child’s school — things like physical exams, immunizations, health records, emergency planning and medication administration. Now would be a great time to make sure you don’t get caught by surprise by any requirements.
