Long-Distance Medical Shuttles

Long-distance medical shuttles are available in some areas for long distance transportation into medical facilities in Boston or other areas. These shuttles are run by Regional Transit Authorities. Many shuttles require advance registration. See below for a list of long-distance medical shuttles. This information is current as of August 2013, so call the service to confirm details before planning your trip.

Shuttles North of Boston

Schedule:  Monday through Friday between 7AM and 5PM

Boston Hospital Shuttle

Serving: Open to seniors, people with disabilities, and veterans in the SRTA service area: Fall River, New Bedford, Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Freetown, Mattapoisett, Somerset, Swansea, and Westport. To register, seniors should call their local Council on Aging, veterans should call their local Veterans' Service Officer, and people with disabilities should contact SRTA directly at (508) 999-5211 (option 2) to see if they qualify for the service.
