Cape Verdean Report

The Diabetes Prevention and Control Program collects information on ethnic/minority groups not well represented in statewide surveys. The Cape Verdean Community Health Survey looked at whether or not there are differences in the health status and care among Cape Verdean adults by gender, age, educational level, disability level, number of years in the US, and type of health care coverage. The findings are used to help design, implement and evaluate programs within the Cape Verdean community.
