Health of Massachusetts: Impact of Diabetes 2002-2007
This document gives current information on the prevalence of diabetes, risk factors and complications, as well as prevention practices, diabetes complications and hospitalizations, and diabetes mortality. It can be used by health care providers, community members, and diabetes educators as a resource to help identify needs and develop intervention programs and strategies.

Information was gathered specifically on diabetes, complications of diabetes, and risk factors for developing diabetes, and includes data through 2007.
Cape Verdean Report
The Diabetes Prevention and Control Program collects information on ethnic/minority groups not well represented in statewide surveys. The Cape Verdean Community Health Survey looked at whether or not there are differences in the health status and care among Cape Verdean adults by gender, age, educational level, disability level, number of years in the US, and type of health care coverage. The findings are used to help design, implement and evaluate programs within the Cape Verdean community.
