The Commonwealth is dedicated to doing everything it can to ensure all babies have a safe place to sleep. We have created a partnership including state agencies and other key partners to ensure we coordinate our efforts.

Our Safe Sleep Initiative includes:

  • Awareness Campaign in partnership with the MBTA, hospitals and other partners.
  • Coordination with hospitals and birthing centers to further patient education.
  • A proclamation from Governor Patrick
  • Expanded website with easy to access and understand information, and links to find out more.
