• The National Sexual Assault TeleNursing Center is a federally funded three year demonstration project that aims to transform the care of sexual assault survivors by:

Increasing access to trauma informed care and forensic evidence collection for victims of sexual assault in high risk and underserved populations. Consultation services will be available to military, tribal, rural, and correctional communities in various locations of the United States. Guided by best practices in forensic nursing and evidence collection, nurses from the Massachusetts Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program will be available to provide guidance and support via video conferencing technology 24/7, 365 days per year to clinicians in designated pilot sites who are responsible for providing care to survivors of sexual assault.
