The Massachusetts Partnership on Substance Use in Older Adults was established in 1987 to raise awareness and provide education and training on substance use and related problems in older adults. In addition to helping to plan the annual Aging with Dignity conference on elder substance use issues, the Partnership conducts regular professional educational development sessions on topics such as alcohol, prescription and illicit drugs, problem gambling, smoking and related mental health concerns for older adults-for more information see the Partnership flyer. For free materials for providers and the public on elder substance use, please see www.massclearinghouse.ehs.state.ma.us
