Martha's Vineyard, a Mass in Motion community, is a program of the Dukes County Health Council to promote healthy eating and active living through walking, biking, and having access to locally-grown foods on Martha's Vineyard and in Massachusetts.  Mass in Motion-MV is creating access to healthier foods in schools and restaurants, creating safer routes to schools for children, and promoting shared-use of roads for pedestrians, cyclists, and cars. Mass in Motion-MV has also partnered with Island Grown, a healthy food-cooperative that brings locally grown foods directly into the island’s school cafeterias as part of the Harvest of the Month program.
