The Environmental Epidemiology Program follows up on problems identified during the environmental health assessment work conducted by the Community Assessment Program and Environmental Toxicology Program. This program not only takes the lead in the design of follow-up studies (many times funded by state [MGL c.21E] or federal Superfund) but also actively participates in the necessary research that is proposed.
