Governor’s Advisory Committee for the Lead Poisoning Prevention Program

The Governor’s Advisory Committee for the Lead Poisoning Prevention Program consists of fourteen members who serve at the pleasure of the governor and advise the Director of the MA DPH Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program on matters of policy, prior to the issuance of rules and regulations, and other duties as the director may request. The membership includes representatives who are physicians or persons active in the field of public health; at least one who is a representative of the Massachusetts Association of Community Development Corporations; at least two who are parents of children under six years of age who reside in lower-income urban areas; at least one who is a representative of the Massachusetts Rental Housing Association; at least one who is a representative of the Massachusetts Bankers Association; at least one who is a representative of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors; and at least one who is a representative of the property and casualty insurance industry.
