The Center for Environmental Health of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) has an office, the Environmental Public Health Center (EPHC), located on the Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR) in Bourne, MA. The Center was established in 1997 to address health questions and concerns of the Upper Cape Cod community related to potential exposures to hazardous substances in the environment. Established through a cooperative agreement with the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), the office serves as an excellent resource for anyone interested in information about environmental health and the Upper Cape Cod Region. Funds from the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) are helping to support this effort.
