Improving the Health of All Mothers and Children

The general purpose of the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant Program is the improvement of the health of all mothers and children in the nation, in keeping with the national health objectives established by the Public Health Service Act for the year 2010. It is also known as Title V from its authorization through Title V of the Social Security Act of 1935.
