Comments also help us prepare our annual application for the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant provided to states by the federal government. The MCH Block Grant has a particular focus on the health of mothers, infants, children, adolescents, and children with special health care needs. Based on federal requirements for submitting our annual MCH application in mid-July, comments received before mid-June each year will be considered in preparing that year's application and summarized as part of our reporting.
Whether you want to comment specifically on the MCH Block Grant and the state's activities related to that or you want to comment more generally on the needs of children and families, your interest and willingness to provide input is appreciated. Note that when comments are reported, they are summarized so that people making them are not identified.
- If you are responding to a specific measure or priority from the MCH Block Grant, please note which one, preferably in the subject line.
- Otherwise, simply provide your general comment, concern, resource, or idea to which you want to draw our attention.
- If you have comments about a page on the website, please include the page URL in your message.
