Many new parents say that bonding with their newborn is sometimes hard. We want to feel that connection but it doesn't always happen right away. Give yourself time. Your provider will tell you that parent/child bonding builds gradually. By experimenting with what works for you and your baby, you'll learn what your baby likes. So cuddle with your newborn, read a book, massage your baby's feet or sing. Over time your baby's smile will tell you you've successfully built the foundation for a healthy lifetime connection.
