Mission and Goals

The Nutrition Division goals are to:

  • Influence and improve lifetime nutrition and health behaviors of populations targeted by the major programmatic units of the Division.
  • Support and complement the Department's priorities of reducing infant deaths, improving health outcomes, and reducing health risks by promoting positive nutritional behaviors and healthy weights.
