In the event a state of emergency is declared for January 26, 2011 (please consult www.mass.gov), the Department of Public Health, Board of Registration in Nursing ("Board") and the Department of Public Health, Drug Control Program (DCP) will NOT
conduct the scheduled public hearing on proposed amendments to 244 CMR 4.00, Regulations Governing the Practice of Nursing in the Expanded Role and 105 CMR 700, Implementation of M.G.L.c. 94C. However, if a state of emergency is in effect on January 26, 2011, the Board and the DCP will extend the deadline for the submission of written testimony until 5:00 p.m. on January 28, 2011. Please submit testimony electronically to the following address: Reg.Testimony@state.ma.us
as an attached Word document or as text within the body of an email and type "subject of regulation or amendments" in the subject line. All submissions must include the sender's full name and address.
The Board and DCP will post all electronic testimony that complies with these instructions on their respective websites. Parties who are unable to submit electronic testimony should mail submissions to LouAnn Stanton, Office of the General Counsel, Department of Public Health 250 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02108.
