Implementation of Massachusetts General Laws c. 94C Department of Public Health Regulations at 105 CMR 700.000 et. Seq. governing the administration of and clinical practices of registered DMH, DCF, and DDS community residential programs relative to medication administration. The regulations established a training and Certification program for medication administration by non-licensed program staff and established standards to protect the well-being of adults living in community programs who need assistance with administration of their medications.
These regulations are the framework from which the MAP is based. They closely mirror one another with slight differences.
