Prior to adoption of final regulations at 105 CMR 725 et seq., Implementation of An Act for the Humanitarian Medical Use of Marijuana, the Department of Public Health (DPH) conducted a comprehensive public engagement process, which included several listening sessions and hearings, as well as a public comment period. DPH is currently focusing on the development of application materials for Registered Marijuana Dispensaries (RMDs).

DPH will host a public Information Session prior to the release of the competitive application process. The Information Session will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at 3pm – 4pm in the Public Health Council Room, 250 Washington Street, Boston MA.  It is not mandatory to attend this session in order to apply for a RMD.

Following release of the application materials, DPH will hold an informational applicants’ conference to provide prospective applicants and other interested parties an opportunity to ask questions, and receive guidance and clarification concerning the application process.
