In recognition of May 20-26, 2012 National Emergency Medical Services Week, I would like to thank the ambulance services, all level emergency medical technicians, emergency physicians, emergency nurses,  firefighters, educators, administrators and others who provide emergency medical services in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. You provide a vital public service, providing lifesaving care to those in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The quality of emergency care you provide has dramatically improved the survival and recovery rate of Massachusetts residents who experience sudden illness or injury. It is my pleasure to recognize the value of your specialized life-saving skills in recognition of Emergency Medical Services Week.
