In recognition of the significant need to keep health care professionals informed about current immunization requirements and practices in a real time manner, the MDPH Immunization Program has created the following Electronic Immunization Tool Kit. The Electronic Immunization Tool Kit replaces the hard copy (plastic file box) tool kits distributed in the past. The Tool Kit, comprised of the linked documents below, includes guidelines, reference documents, office materials suitable for reproduction, practice tools that facilitate the implementation of immunization best practices, patient education materials and other resources.

The electronic format allows for timely updates to existing documents and can accommodate new information immediately, a critical component considering the rapidly changing issues in immunization practice.
