Program developers can search the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP) to find prevention strategies that have worked in other communities. To find the stronger programs, it is important to consider: 1) the outcomes of interest; 2) settings; 3) implementation issues; and 4) the match between your audience and those in the successful studies. It can also be helpful to visit http://masstapp.edc.org/ and http://captus.samhsa.gov/.

For resources for professionals, parents, and youth visit the Massachusetts Health Promotion Clearinghouse (www.mass.gov/maclearinghouse).
