SSI Program Payment Charts

SSI (Supplemental Security Income) is a federal program of the Social Security Administration that makes monthly payments to certain people who are age 65 or older, blind or disabled. Massachusetts adds more money to SSI payments for Massachusetts residents. This is called the SSI State Supplement Program, or SSP.

EAEDC Living Arrangement and Grant Calculation

The assistance grant of EAEDC applicants or recipients is based on the living arrangement of the assistance unit. Sections 106 CMR 321.410, 321.420, and 321.500 describe the living arrangements, the Standards of Assistance for the living arrangements, and the grant calculation.

TAFDC Eligibility Table

The TAFDC income eligibility standard for the parent of a teen parent under age 18 is based on household size and is adjusted annually as prescribed by the Final Massachusetts Budget Paper copies are available upon request.

TAFDC Tables of Eligibility, Need and Payment Standards

Chapter 38 of the Acts of 2013 authorized a nonrecurring $150 clothing allowance in September 2013 for each eligible applicant and recipient under age 19. Therefore, the Department temporarily increased the Eligibility, Need and Payment Standards during the month of September 2013. Paper copies are available upon request.
