On November 5, 2012, the next phase of Massachusetts health care reform goes into effect, as part of the Patrick-Murray Administration’s efforts to crack the code on health care costs, while also providing high quality, accessible care to all.
As part of this transition, the Executive Office of Health and Human Services will become the authority for the pricing and Health Safety Net regulations, formerly published under the authority of DHCFP. A new, independent state agency—the Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA)—will assume other responsibilities formerly handled by DHCFP.
All content on the DHCFP website, including regulations, will move to CHIA's website (www.mass.gov/chia). Pricing and Health Safety Net regulations will be moved to the EOHHS website (www.mass.gov/eohhs). These regulations will also be available on the CHIA website. EOHHS will have transferred all pricing and Health Safety Net regulations to its website by the end of November. Until the migration of these regulations to the EOHHS website is complete, we recommend that you refer to the CHIA website for these regulations.
Thank you for your patience during this transition.
