Social Security Information Teleservice:
Call to initiate a Social Security Insurance application; will be referred to a local Social Security Administration office for completion of the application process.

Parental Stress Hotline: 24 Hours, 7 Days.
Support and referrals for parents with children of any age, as well as for other family members, care givers, friends and relatives.

Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline (DSS): 24 Hours, 7 Days.
Hotline provides info. and referral for DSS from 9 AM - 5 PM and after hours (5 PM - 9 AM) is a crisis hotline for DSS. Primarily used to file 51 A reports.

Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC): M-F, 9 AM - 5 PM
Protective child welfare agency; provides info & referral; adolescent parent services; and family advocacy services.

National Runaway Switchboard: 24 Hours, 7 Days.
Helps children find shelters. Contacts parents or finds social service agency for protection.
Staffed by young volunteers, hotline is primarily for children.

Provides nutritious foods, nutrition education and counseling, and health care and social service referrals for pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children under five.

A free and confidential telephone service for Massachusetts residents who want help to end their tobacco use. Callers receive individual coaching, advice on medications, and how to find out if their insurance covers quit smoking services.
