HSPC has planned a project with the Statewide Emergency Telecommunications Board (SETB) that will increase the use of EMD software to ensure that Massachusetts 9-1-1 communications centers (commonly referred to as Public Safety Answering Points or PSAPs) respond to medical emergencies consistently and to the highest standard of care as recommended by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
