Most MassHealth members are enrolled with a MassHealth managed care provider, either with a Primary Care Clinician (PCC) or with a Managed Care Organization (MCO). To verify a member's managed care enrollment status, access the Eligibility Verification System. Provider Enrollment and Credentialing reviews and processes applications from MassHealth providers applying to participate as a PCC.

The following provider types are eligible to become PCCs:
- Physician
- Independent Nurse Practitioner
- Community Health Center
- Acute Outpatient Hospital
- Hospital Licensed Health Center
- Group Practice Organization
To become a PCC Plan Provider, or to change your PCC Plan Provider information, contact us. You must be a currently enrolled provider in MassHealth to become a PCC provider.
