Health Care Facilities and Programs

DoN receives and evaluates applications from health care facilities planning substantial capital expenditures and substantial change in services involving technologies, facilities and services. DoN makes recommendations to the Public Health Council members who then approve or disapprove the expenditures and/or new services.

Includes Nursing Homes and Rest Homes

Plan review is the review of construction documents for new health care facilities, and additions and renovations to existing healthcare facilities prior to the start of the construction.
