Annual Data Profiles provide statewide, regional and area office summaries covering maltreatment reports received during the year, consumer demographics, and details relating to children in placement and children not in placement on the last day of the year. Annual data profiles cover a calendar year.

As of CY'2008 the annual data profile includes two new tables: type of placement by age group and type of placement by race. Statistics are provided for each DCF area and region, as well as statewide.

Please note that in CY'2007 the following change was made to the annual data profile. To simplify the reporting of race and ethnicity, and because it appears that many consumers who self-identify as Hispanic/Latino do not self-identify with any race categories, ethnicity and race have been combined on these profiles.
