  • All-Payer Claims Database (APCD)

    The APCD is a database comprised of medical, pharmacy, and dental claims, and information from the member eligibility, provider, and product files encompassing fully-insured, self-insured, Medicare, and Medicaid data. The APCD will afford a deeper understanding of the Massachusetts health care delivery system by providing access to timely and accurate data essential to improving quality, reducing costs, and promoting transparency.

  • Household Survey on Insurance Status Database

    The Household Survey on Insurance Status public use file includes survey results related to topics such as insurance status, access to care, and use of services.

  • Hospital Summary Utilization Data

    The Fiscal Year 2010 Hospital Summary Utilization Data Files (FY10 HSUDF) contain data collected by the Division of Health Care Finance and Policy from more than 851,000 inpatient hospital discharges, 166,000 outpatient observation visits, as well as aggregate data from 2,509,000 outpatient emergency department (ED) visits to Massachusetts acute care hospitals.

  • Total Medical Expenses and Relative Prices

    The Division is required by Chapter 288 of the Acts of 2010 to develop methodologies for the uniform reporting of Health Status Adjusted Total Medical Expenses (TME) and Relative Prices. Regulation 114.5 CMR 23.00 governs the methodology and filing requirements for health care payers to calculate and report TME and Relative Price data pursuant to Chapter 288.
