February 2011 DFS - Briefs - Monthly Updates from the Department of Fire Services

DFS is planning a stepped up "Keep Warm Keep Safe" campaign in the next month as a result of the severe cold weather that we have been experiencing .

DFS will be working with several radio stations throughout Massachusetts to get the "Keep Warm Keep Safe" message out. Included in this month's DFS Briefs is the press release DFS issued during January  in regard to cold weather fire safety as well as informational flyers on "Major Storm Safety" and "Space Heater Fire Safety". Fire departments can use this information within their communities. February's DFS Briefs also includes several important advisories and information on upcoming training opportunities.
