As we enter the "Halloween Season" please pay special attention to the the advisory in regard to life-safety issues particularly where "haunted houses" and/or "fun houses” are operated and open to the public.
This updated advisory contains current relevant sections of both the fire and building codes. Also in this month’s issue you will find an educational flyer "Put a Lid on It" which was referenced last month.
This flyer has facts and safety tips regarding cooking fires. I hope you'll join us in our education efforts this year and in 2012, which will include cooking and winter heating safety. There are other important fire safety flyers and information on training opportunities.
