Ethanol Risks Causes Explosion

Ethanol continues to pose risks and challenges to our communities.  One of the training programs being re-advertised this month is our newly developed “Ethanol Risks and Challenges for Community Leaders.”  The goal of this three (3) hour program is to provide elected and appointed officials with the information that they need to support the new challenges posed by the transportation and storage of ethanol. I would encourage you to share this information with your officials and encourage them to attend with you.

Also in this month’s issue you will find updated information on new and renewed liquor license inspections.

In addition, the December DFS Briefs contains public safety information on ice and cold water safety.

Please be sure to avail yourself to all of the important information contained in the December DFS Briefs.
