Parking at DFS:

  • Parking during regular business hours is available for recruits, instructors, all other students and all DFS staff on a first-come, first-serve basis in the side and upper parking lots located east of the main DFS building. Designated visitor parking is also available in front of the main DFS building and there is no parking in the front traffic circle. A limited number of assigned medical parking spots as well as handicapped parking spots are available in designated areas close to the main building. DFS asks for all to respect the restricted parking signs and to be careful when walking down the steps from the upper parking lot.

Please refrain from parking anywhere east of the ladder tower building in the drill yard area which makes it difficult to conduct training operations, crib room support and access the cafeteria.

Construction of the new main entrance area began and continued throughout March.

 

 

 

 

Work on the exterior of the new Administration Building also continued throughout February and March.



Interior work continued throughout the winter in the new Administration Building and it appears to be on schedule for a summer 2009 occupancy.
