FY 14 S.A.F.E. and Senior SAFE Grant Application
The Department of Fire Services is proud to announce the application for the Student Awareness of Fire Education grant program and the new Senior SAFE grant program is now available. This is the 19th year of the school-based S.A.F.E. Program but the Legislature and Administration created the new Senior SAFE Program in this year’s budget. This gives the fire service an opportunity to continue the success of the S.A.F.E. Program by further reducing fires deaths in Massachusetts and increasing the fire safety of older adults because people over 65 are most at risk of dying in fires in our state. Applications are due at the Department of Fire Services by 5:00 p.m. on October 4, 2013.
