April 4, 2017 – Senior Fire Officer Forum: Surviving the Insult - rescheduled
Keene (NH) Fire Lieutenant William Greenwood will present a Senior Fire Officer Forum on Surviving the Insult on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 (rescheduled from Feb. 17) at the DFS Stow campus. All ranks are welcome to this class that will provide a good understanding of modern fire dynamics, flow path consideration and information on why today’s firefighters experience bad things during rapid fire growth. There is no fee and lunch is self-service in the cafeteria. Pre-registration is required using the standard MFA application.

May 1, 2017 – Open Burning Season Ends
The last day for open burning is May 1, 2017. It’s best to complete spring burning while there’s still snow on the ground and at least as early as possible. Changing weather conditions might prohibit permits from being issued in any given day.
