Massachusetts Department of Correction to host Prison Media Day on Nov. 18 at MCI Cedar Junction, Walpole.

Milford (November 12, 2004)-The Massachusetts Department of Correction continues its 13th year of hosting Prison Media Days with a tour of the following facility:

Thursday, November 18, 9:30am-MCI Cedar Junction, Walpole

Attendance at a DOC Media Day must be confirmed three days in advance. Nov. 18 attendees must confirm by Tuesday, Nov. 16, noon, by calling Diane Wiffin, (508) 422-3317 and providing full name and date of birth. Proper dress and ID, with date of birth, are required.

MCI Framingham, South Middlesex Correctional Center (Framingham), MCI Plymouth, the Mass. Treatment Center for the Sexually Dangerous (Bridgewater) and Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center were among the facilities that recently offered tours, and tours of the other facilities will take place starting in March 2005. Facility tours allow media the opportunity to gather file footage and photographs for future use. Information packages are available.
