The Massachusetts Department of Correction recently completed four re-accreditation audits.

The Massachusetts Department of Correction (DOC) recently completed four re-accreditation audits. The following facilities were re-accredited: Old Colony Correctional Center, Bridgewater State Hospital, NCCI- Gardner and MCI- Framingham. DOC was successful in all four despite stringent budget demands. The successful completion keeps the Massachusetts Department of Correction in good standing by having all of its facilities fully accredited by the American Correctional Association (ACA). The DOC also has two divisions fully accredited. Those divisions are Central Office and Industries. The full accreditation results in the department earning the prestigious ACA Eagle award for Massachusetts.
