All licenses issued, renewed or otherwise updated by the Department of Public Safety are posted to the DPS Website after processing. Processing typically takes up to two weeks. Currently, processing is taking several more weeks as we convert to a new system. Please see the FAQ's below for more information. Information is available from 2001 to the present for lookup on the website however please be aware that this is not
an official record of licensure, but rather provided as a convenience to the public. If you do not find the information you are seeking, please verify the spelling or try a different search criteria. Please note, however, that if a license has been suspended by the Department, the license will not appear in the Lookup during the period of suspension. Additional information, including prior complaints may be displayed by clicking on the license number including the expiration date and complaint record.
You will be able to search licensees using either their name, company name or license number. Further, you will be able to search for a licensee by city or town.
