The goal of the FMA program is to implement cost-effective measures that reduce or eliminate the long-term risk of flood damage to buildings, manufactured homes, and other structures insured under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Federal funding for this program is an annual allocation to the State based on the number of NFIP-insured properties and number of 'repetitive loss' properties. for additional information related to FEMA's FMA program please see FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Assistance page.
