On Thursday, April 18th, 2013, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts received an Emergency Disaster Declaration (FEMA-3362-EM) making federal funding available to State Agencies, local governments and certain private non-profit organizations for emergency work as a direct result of the April 15th 2013 Massachusetts (Marathon) Explosions in the Counties of Suffolk, Middlesex & Norfolk. On June 5th, 2013, FEMA approved inclusion of Bristol County in the Emergency Declaration.
All potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of the MEMA Applicant Briefings listed below.

Request for Public Assistance (RPA)
In order to be considered for FEMA reimbursements your RPA must be submitted to MEMA by: JUNE 18, 2013 (JULY 5, 2013 for Bristol County ONLY)
Applicants must include whom the Authorized Agent (who can sign contracts) is on the RPA: Request For Public Assistance (RPA)
FEMA Workbooks for Applicants:
These workbooks should be used to report all incurred costs. Applicants must provide backup documentation (certified payrolls, invoices, and proof of payment – cancelled check/warrant) for everything on the worksheets.
