MGH Blood Mobile @ AHQ Danvers

For the second time this year, civilian and sworn members of the Massachusetts State Police teamed up with Massachusetts General Hospital for a successful Blood Donor Drive .

Throughout July, a Bloodmobile and medical personnel traveled throughout the state taking donations from generous State Police participants who were willing to give the " Gift of Life". Over 37 employees from the State Police Crime Laboratory in Sudbury alone showed up to help make this blood drive a success

Kim Cronin of Massachusetts General Hospital reported that State Police personnel donated 123 units of blood during the July Blood Donor Drive. This donation is in addition to the 158 units that were donated by Departmental personnel in March. In sum, over 800 lives have been touched by the Department's participation in the program. Once again, Colonel Robbins would like to thank all MSP and MGH personnel who helped make this drive a success.
