Members of the Massachusetts State Police will be joining the Ludlow Police, Ludlow Fire Fighters, and Ludlow "Regular Joe's and Jane's" in their participation in the upcoming Pushups for Charity Challenge. The challenge is a fundraising event hosted by a company in Ludlow called Core Fitness. The event raises money to support wounded members of the United States Armed Services through the Wounded Warrior Project. It will be held Saturday, April 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Core Fitness Gym.

Participants on the "Regular Joe's and Jane's" team will compete against members of the State Police, Ludlow Police, and the Ludlow Fire Department to see who can do the most pushups in 90 seconds. The Joe's and Jane's receive donations of a monetary amount1 for every pushup done in the allotted timeframe. They are also able to receive flat donations of $20 or more. Every pushup counts and all donations go towards a great cause.
