State Police Investigate Route 495 Foxboro Crash

On November 18, 2006, at about 2:10 a.m., State Police from the Foxboro Barracks responded to an SUV rollover crash on Route 495 North, between exits 13 and 14, in Foxboro.

Preliminary investigation by Trooper Anthony Fabiano indicates that 40-year-old Stuart Lamoureux of Holliston was traveling on Route 495 North in a 1999 Toyota 4-Runner when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the right side of the roadway and rollover.

Lamoureux, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, was transported by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. His passenger, 44-year-old Tara Hipolito of Milford, was transported by ambulance to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, for treatment of serious injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation with the assistance of the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section. No charges have been filed at this time. Foxboro Fire and EMS, Plainville Fire and EMS, and Mass Highway all assisted at the scene.

The two right travel lanes on Route 495 North were closed for more than 1 and ½ hours.

This is all the information that is currently available. Please do not contact the barracks.
