State Police Investigate Tractor-Trailer Crash on Route 95 North Ramp in Peabody

Today, at approximately 8:26 a.m., Troopers assigned to the State Police Barracks in Danvers responded to a rollover crash involving a tractor-trailer on the ramp from Route 1 North to Route 95 North in Peabody, that resulted in the operator's arrest.

Preliminary investigation by Trooper Jose Cuevas, indicates that 32 year-old Kenneth A. Little of 36 Lake Avenue in Woburn was operating a 1994 Peterbilt tractor-trailer on the Route 1 northbound ramp to Route 95 northbound, when he lost control of the vehicle rolling it onto its passenger side. Little was transported with minor injuries to the Leahy Clinic by ambulance.

Little was arrested and charged with the following offenses; Operating To Endanger, Marked Lanes Violation, Speeding, Overloaded Vehicle and Possession of a Class B substance.

The ramp from Route 1 North to Route 95 North was closed for approximately 3 hours. The crash remains under investigation with the assistance of the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (C.A.R.S.) and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section. The Peabody Fire Department as well as The Massachusetts Highway Department also assisted troopers at the scene.
