State Police Kick-Off "ROADCHECK 2007"

The Massachusetts State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section in conjunction with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will be conducting "Roadcheck 2007" from Tuesday, June 5, 2007 through Thursday, June 7, 2007.

"Roadcheck" is an annual nationwide intensive truck and bus inspection campaign involving all fifty states along with numerous Canadian provinces that focuses on commercial vehicle safety in an effort to save lives. This year, commercial motor vehicle operators will receive a reminder on the importance of wearing safety belts while driving, as well as information regarding the North American Standard Inspection Program and hazardous materials safety and security.

Thirty-nine troopers will be assigned to seven different weigh stations at the following locations:


  • Attleboro Rte 95 June 7
  • Deerfield Route 91 June 5, 7
  • Raynham Route 495 June 6
  • Rowley Route 95 June 5-7
  • Seekonk Route 195 June 5, 7
  • Sturbridge Route 84 June 6
  • Uxbridge Route 146 June 5, 7
