State Police Class B Trafficking Arrest
Today at approximately 10:30 A.M, troopers assigned to the State Police Barracks in Springfield conducted a motor vehicle stop of a 2000 Toyota Sienna Mini-Van at the intersection of Liberty Street and Nursery Street in Springfield that resulted in the seizure of between 100 and 200 grams of a Class B. substance believed to be cocaine.
The operator of the Toyota was identified as 30 year-old Angelo Dejesus of 10 Chestnut Street in Springfield. Dejesus was placed under arrest, transported to the State Police Springfield Barracks and he is charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking a Class B Substance
- Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substances Act
- Possession of a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a School Zone
- Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Various Motor Vehicle Offenses
Dejesus is currently in custody and he will be arraigned at the Springfield District Court on Wednesday.
